As the world scrambles for GPUs to power artificial intelligence, Indian startup Neysa is tackling the shortage head-on. The Bengaluru-based company is building a domestic AI infrastructure network offering cloud-based GPU access to startups, researchers, and enterprises.
Founded by former Infosys and IBM engineers, Neysa’s mission is simple: make computing power accessible and affordable for the Indian AI ecosystem. Its flagship product, Neysa Cloud, offers high-performance GPUs for model training, data processing, and generative AI workloads—all hosted within India’s data sovereignty framework.
The company’s rapid ascent has caught the attention of global investors. In August 2025, Neysa raised $60 million in Series A funding from Sequoia India and Tiger Global. The funds will be used to expand data center capacity and build strategic partnerships with chip manufacturers. Neysa is also developing indigenous AI accelerators to reduce reliance on NVIDIA and AMD chips.
India’s government has been pushing for local AI infrastructure as part of its “IndiaAI Mission.” Neysa’s work aligns perfectly with this national goal, enabling Indian startups to scale AI innovation without foreign dependency. As demand for generative AI grows, Neysa’s role in democratizing access to computation could make it the AWS of India’s AI future.
