China Expands AI-Powered Healthcare Network

China has accelerated the integration of AI tools across its public hospital network to enhance early diagnosis and reduce workloads on medical staff. The system, launched in Beijing and Shanghai, uses image-based learning to detect cardiovascular and respiratory diseases.

The National Health Commission reported improved diagnostic accuracy and patient throughput. AI adoption in healthcare is part of China’s broader plan to modernise its public health infrastructure by 2030.
