South Africa launched a series of artisan markets aimed at preserving indigenous crafts and supporting creative entrepreneurs. The initiative promotes sustainable design through collaborations between artisans and contemporary designers.
Tourism authorities say the markets attract both domestic and international visitors while fostering cultural preservation and economic inclusion.
