Egypt Restores Ancient Tombs In Luxor To Enhance Tourism Appeal

Egypt’s Ministry of Antiquities announced the reopening of two restored tombs in Luxor, funded partly by UNESCO and EU heritage grants. The conservation project involved detailed digital mapping and restoration of wall paintings.

Tourism authorities expect a surge in cultural visits during the winter season, with Luxor’s new heritage trail linking key archaeological sites and museums.
